A special and sustainable vacation spot on the beautiful island of Terschelling. Where you can recharge, discharge and enjoy vitamin sea with friends and family. Team V Architecture designed the house to fit the cultural-historical context of the Wadden Island, lasting and special.
The interior was conceived by designers Kranen/Gille, playful and handmade. Large windows and glass windows offer lots of light and beautiful vistas. The house is tucked away in a green, sheltered garden and largely off the grid. We use filtered rainwater for shower, toilet and watering and have solar panels and a Powerbox battery to meet our energy needs.
The house was built in 2024 on the edge of the lively village of Hoorn with a few practical stores and cozy and good restaurants. Next to the house is the beautiful church of Hoorn, the oldest building on the island. The bus stops in the Dorpsstraat near the church so it is easy to reach even without a car or bike.
